Roaring into Success with WBS Law
WBS Law (Waldrond and Birthsmith Law) is a newly established legal firm seeking a visual identity that conveys strength, professionalism, and trust. As a startup in a highly traditional industry, WBS needed a brand that could establish credibility quickly while standing apart from competitors. The firm requested a logo and visual identity that reflects its values and sets a solid foundation for future growth.
Goals
The primary objective was to design a brand identity with a few keywords in mind: reliability, authority, and professionalism—core traits essential for a law firm. We aimed to position WBS Law as a durable and trustworthy presence within the legal space, while ensuring that visual language was modern and refined.
Execution
The initial meeting was a lengthy one to really understand and define what it is their new company needed and what the firm partners wanted, both visually and in values.
We deep-dived into competitive analysis and industry trends, identifying visual elements and themes commonly used by top law firms. Using this research, we developed a set of core brand keywords—Strong, Durable, Reliable, Professional—which became the foundation for the identity. The final logo design combined bold typography with an icon of a jaguar, which the partners saw as a symbol of strength and diversity of our country.
The colour palette was carefully chosen to reflect a unique but trustworthy feeling, while the overall visual system was designed to be both timeless and adaptable across print and digital platforms.
The resulting brand gave WBS Law a confident visual presence that helped establish its credibility from day one and supported its business development efforts with a polished, cohesive identity.
